Larger house (cover photo) is a Baroque edifice built on late-Gothic fundaments. It has cellar spaces accesible from the street, two storey´s and huge ceiling loft. Built up area is 233sqm. It is abandoned now and after complete reconstruction of the exterior, façade and roof. It has electricity, water supply and gas extension prepared for the reconstruction of the interior, which will be performed according to future utilization of this house (flats, hotel, restaurant, teaching center, ect.) by the new owner. Valid building permision is available. Smaller house in the courtyard (built-up area: 189sqm) has been completely reconstructed and is usable for living immediately. On the ground floor it has a large living room, kitchen and bathroom. In the loft there are two rooms with the bathroom. It has electrical heating. Cellar spaces are suitable as sauna resp. fitness place, or as a wine-cellar.

Banská Štiavnica is the oldest and the most significant mining town of the former Hungarian Kingdom, considered to be the richest source of gold and silver in the world before the discovery of american continent. The centre of the town contains 360 artistic and historical sights and in its surroundings you can find unique mining hydro-system (17-19th centuries) consisting of over 20 reservoirs. These lakes surrounded by hilly landscape (city´s altitude is 600m) of Štiavnické vrchy mountains provide picturesque sceneries and wonderful holiday resort with the network of walking routes, but first of all with marvellous flora and fauna. Because of its exceptional position, precious architectonic and old mining technological monuments it was inscrebed on the List of World Cultural and National Heritage of UNESCO in December 1993.
